He said evidence scattered across the yard was only the beginning. The true horror, he revealed, was found deep inside the house — the same location where 47-year-old Jefferson Lewis allegedly held the little girl captive while evading police.

“I cannot even begin to imagine the terror and unimaginable suffering that sweet five-year-old Sharon was forced to endure in there,” Dole said, his voice cracking with emotion.

Sources close to the investigation claim veteran officers were left in absolute shock. Some reportedly became physically ill and had to step away while processing the crime scene.
