A video that was taken on the 7th of June 2025, showed Isabelle as a “happy, healthy and mischievous two-year-old”, but 99 days later she was dead. in late June 2025, her 26 year old mum Alexandra Walker began dating 22 year old Harrison Simpson after meeting on Facebook.

She suspected he might be a paedophile, as he preferred to see them both at the same time and he would bathe her daughter Isabelle without her permission. However she didn’t break up with him, even though she was suspicious enough to check the Sex Offenders’ Register to see if he was on it.

Emergency services were called to an address on Hartington Close in Thornaby on the 13th of September 2025 following concerns for the welfare of a young child.

Isabelle was taken to hospital shortly afterwards where she sadly passed away from a catastrophic head injury. In the weeks before her death, Isabelle sustained multiple fractures to 21 bones and her body was covered in bruises.

Isabelle’s mother, 26 year old Alexandra Walker and her boyfriend 22 year old Harrison Simpson, were both arrested in connection with her death due to the severity of her injuries.

Experts established that Isabelle had been shaken and her head had been smashed against a wall or the floor. Further clinical examinations identified severe bruising and swelling inside and around her genital region. The post-mortem examination officially confirmed that she had been forcefully sexually assaulted around the same time she sustained her fatal head injury.

In court in July 2026, Harrison Simpson was found guilty of murder, child cruelty and sexual abuse, he was jailed for life with a minimum term of 28 years. Alexandra Walker was found guilty of murder and child cruelty and she was also jailed for life with a minimum term of 22 years.
