They were fine & fly.. Tupac & his fiancée, Kidada Jones. His final love story was with Kidada. The two were engaged and living together at the time of his death. ⁣ Kidada initially did not speak to Tupac because he dissed her father, Quincy Jones, for being with white women (her mother was a white woman). They met again soon after and Tupac apologized. She gave in and gave him her phone number. ⁣ ⁣ Soon enough, Tupac was in love with Kidada, saying to his mother Afeni Shakur, “I love her. She’s going to be my wife, she’s having my children.” ⁣ ⁣ He rented a house for him and Kidada in Calabasas, California. Later in her father’s autobiography, Kidada said, “Tupac was the love of my life. He and I lived together for four months and then he was murdered in Las Vegas in 1996. It was the most horrible thing that ever happened to me.”⁣ ⁣ Kidada was with him in Vegas & waited for him in their hotel room. She got a call that he had been shot & headed to the hospital. ⁣ ⁣ Doctors and Shakur’s mother allowed her in the room where Shakur was being monitored. One of the last ppl to speak to him. ⁣ ⁣ “Do you know I love you?” she asked him, according to her 1997 interview with Vanity Fair. “Do you know we all love you?” Shakur nodded yes and as she walked away, he began convulsing and slipped into a coma. He was then removed from life support. ⁣ ⁣ Kidada was devastated. She told VH1 that she was depressed, unable to speak, or leave her home for months after his death.⁣ ⁣ Furthermore, she suffered from extreme guilt over his passing, as she had an eerie feeling that something terrible would happen before Shakur left their hotel. She asked him not to go out on the evening that he was shot, but he insisted.
