Jason Statham’s “impressive” thriller with Vicky McClure is now streaming for free

A thriller with Jason Statham described as “phenomenal” and “impressive” has been added to Tubi to stream for free. Hummingbird, under the US name Redemption on Tubi, is now available on the platform and can also be streamed on ITVX.
Written and directed by Steven Knight in his directorial debut, Hummingbird stars Statham as Joey Jones, an ex-Special Forces soldier who is now living on the streets of London.
After getting sober, he is recruited by a criminal gang in Soho, while secretly acting as a vigilante.

The film also stars Vicky McClure, Agata Buzek, Benedict Wong, and Christian Brassington among others.
It received mixed reviews from critics, holding a 50% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but fared slightly higher with fans on IMDb, racking up a score of 7.1.
