Viewers can’t stop watching Channel 4’s new thriller In Flight — “darker and more addictive than Bodyguard”

Channel 4 has just dropped the first episode of its gritty new six-part crime thriller In Flight — and audiences are already “hooked” from the opening scene.

Starring Katherine Kelly (Happy Valley, Mr Selfridge, Coronation Street), the high-stakes series follows Jo Conran, a devoted single mother and flight attendant, whose life is thrown into chaos when she’s blackmailed into smuggling drugs to save her wrongly imprisoned son. What begins as a desperate act spirals into a deadly web of international corruption, hired killers, and shocking betrayals.

Viewers are calling the drama “mesmerising,” “gripping,” and “impossible to stop watching,” with many comparing its relentless pace and shocking twists to Bodyguard — only darker.
