Lazarus: Amazon Prime’s Next Big Thriller From Harlan Coben Promises “Twists Galore” — With Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy & Alexandra Roach Leading the Charge

Bad news first: we’ll have to wait until autumn to watch it. Good news? Lazarus already looks like the kind of series you’ll want to devour in a single weekend — and it’s from Harlan Coben, the bestselling mastermind behind Fool Me Once and The Stranger.

Producers are calling it Coben’s most nail-biting story yet, promising “twists galore” and teasing that the six-part drama revolves around “the eternal bond between a parent and a child — even after death.”

What’s it about?

Sam Claflin stars as Laz, a forensic psychologist who returns home after the death of his father, played by Bill Nighy. But while grieving, Laz finds himself pulled into a series of chilling cold-case murders — and begins experiencing strange, unexplainable events. Alexandra Roach plays Jenna Lazarus, completing the show’s central family trio.
