Landman season 2 release date finally revealed (and it’s exactly when we thought)

Paramount+ just dropped the official release date for Landman season 2 — and yes, it’s exactly when everyone predicted. That’s both good news and bad news for fans eagerly waiting for Taylor Sheridan’s next big series to return.

It’s great to finally have a date circled on the calendar, but mid-November is still months away (and several other Sheridan premieres away). New episodes will stream weekly on Sundays throughout fall 2025 and into early 2026.

Who’s back for Landman season 2?

Billy Bob Thornton reprises his role as Tommy Norris, alongside Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Paulina Chavez, and James Jordan. Sheridan has also added screen legend Sam Elliott to the mix — though details on his mysterious character are still tightly under wraps.

Along with the release date, Paramount+ dropped a dramatic 15-second teaser trailer to announce the premiere — but don’t expect new footage just yet. Clips from season 2 are still being kept secret and will likely surface closer to the launch.
