CBS’s hit drama FBI roars into its eighth season this October, and according to stars Zeeko Zaki and Missy Peregrym, fans haven’t seen anything like what’s coming. “We somehow figured out how to make it even more intense,” Zaki teased. “There’s life, there’s death — everything that makes this show what it is, just amplified.”

Picking up just three days after the Season 7 finale’s fiery explosion, the season opens in chaos as Special Agent Isobel Castille fights for her life — and the team faces the emotional fallout. “We still don’t know if she’s going to make it,” Peregrym revealed. “Everyone’s trying to stay focused while carrying that fear. Jubal’s stepping in, trying to lead, and it’s a pressure cooker for everyone.”

And that’s just the beginning. The stars promise jaw-dropping twists, new personal storylines, and a high-stakes episode aboard an airplane that could rival the show’s infamous train sequence. “We’re usually chasing suspects on the streets of New York,” Zaki said with a grin. “This time, we’re in the sky. Maybe next year we’ll go underwater — we’re checking off all the vehicles!”

While fans speculate whether the Forefront threat is truly over, the cast hints at deeper secrets, shifting alliances, and a few “career-defining” moments that will test loyalty like never before.
