Netflix’s upcoming series from executive producer Steven Spielberg is a must-watch and it’s arriving on the streamer in just a month’s time.
The platform has just released a first-look trailer for the new project from Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, which promises to bring prehistoric Earth to life like never before.
The Dinosaurs is a groundbreaking new documentary series from the award-winning creators of Our Planet which chronicles the ancient reptiles’ path from evolution to extinction.
Narrated by Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman, the story of these remarkable creatures will be told across millions of years through the use of state-of-the-art visual effects.
The first footage released this week showcases breathtaking footage of “nature’s greatest empire”, featuring terrifying hunters, earth-shaking giants and formidable sea monsters.
“Discover the secrets of the dinosaurs,” Freeman teases, leaving viewers with goosebumps.
Nature documentary fans have gone wild for the new trailer, putting the new series from the director of Jurassic Park straight to the top of their streaming watchlists.
“I am genuinely at a loss for words…” one stunned viewer said in the YouTube comments.

An official logline for the epic series reads: “From the creators of Life on Our Planet, this new documentary series will tell the story of the rise and fall of the dinosaurs — where they came from, why they mattered, how they evolved and how they met their ultimate fate.”

The series will feature four episodes and promises to showcase a vast array of dinosaur species, from armoured beasts Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus, to apex predators Allosaurus and Tyrannosaurus rex and feathered fliers Anchiornis and Longipteryx.
The Dinosaurs releases Friday, 6th March on Netflix.
