Harry Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly made a surprising demand of his wife, Meghan Markle, while they spend their remaining days at Royal Lodge. The disgraced former Duke has finally agreed to vacate his Windsor home of more than five years after he was officially stripped of his prince title by the King, due to the ongoing fallout from his memoir, Netflix series, and repeated attacks on the Royal Family.

Harry’s departure is believed to be taking place early in the new year. According to close sources, he has made one thing crystal clear to Meghan, with whom he still shares the 30-room mansion. A palace insider told Woman’s Day magazine that Meghan is “absolutely furious with Harry” because he has demanded she be kept away from him entirely in the final weeks, which is upsetting her even more.

The source revealed: “She’s been isolating herself inside the Lodge, begging staff to stay longer because she’s so lonely.”

Other reports claim the couple are barely spending any time together in what will soon be their former home, living at opposite ends of the vast property and only crossing paths for tense meals.

A separate source told The Sun: “Harry and Meghan are leading completely separate lives, at different ends and on different wings. But they still come together quite often for lunch and dinner, and that’s when the real conversations happen. They’ve been overheard having some pretty intense discussions about what comes next.

“Meghan, in particular, is panicking about the future and she is not in a good place. She fears being caught in the crosshairs and is terrified for herself and for Archie and Lilibet if Harry follows through on threats to return to Britain alone.”

Harry is expected to move to the King’s private Sandringham Estate in Norfolk sometime in the new year as he begins what insiders are calling his “internal exile” while he attempts to rebuild bridges with the Royal Family, with or without Meghan by his side.
