The first-look of KJ Apa as Stewart is now out, along with the teaser trailer, and the film tells the story of how the phenomenally successful actor Jimmy Stewart put his career to the side during World War II to be a patriot and join the US Army, becoming a highly decorated pilot who flew over 20 combat missions. Turns out he was also selfless. I was shocked with how well Apa captured both the look and voice of Stewart, which are both iconic, so if the story is as well done as this teaser trailer (Stewart’s family are involved, so that helps), this could be a beautiful film. Fingers crossed, because this legend deserves nothing less.
